Pixel Art / Re: Interactive piece (W.I.P)

I'm fine with the grass colour but what's really lacking for me is the quality for the cat and dog. They're a lot less vibrant and punchy in comparison to the environment, which really kinda takes the focus away from them. I'd consider revamping your colour choice on them first and foremost. The rest is awesome though, I really love your environments, to reitterate. I might throw down an edit in a little bit to show you an idea of what I think would improve them.

Good looking stuff!

That edit is all well and fine, except I think the lips have totally been overdone. The original by Skurwy was full, luscious and feminine, and I feel like Helm has made them more masculine looking with the smaller lower lip and... well that's all really.

I am truly jealous of your anatomical accuracy. I really fail at that, and it's cool to see how this piece has evolved. The portrait is a vast step up from the original picture for sure.

Hopefully you get more time to work on this after your commercial project is finished.

I agree with Arachne's edit, and I definitely think the character is cute as all get out. Definitely some really nice stuff going on there.

finish your first tile first. It's only fair.

I think I'm done... save maybe a few changes that may occur for polishing sake.

K, gonna start on 4 now, I was waiting for the whole castle and such to be worked out, since that overlaps my tile.

I'll have something real soon.  :)

Sevensheaven: I was totally right there with Helm thinking those were real and wanting to buy one. It would be totally badass if they were real, the picture totally fooled me.

Just an msPaint doodle, testing out my new Wacom Bamboo   ;D

And this.

Photoshop is hard to use, even WITH a tablet. At least for me.  I'm going to need to do some extensive practice, figuring out custom brushes and sorts.

Why don't you just screw off you hobo.

Uhh.... luv?

Happy b-day, you sexy man.

Is it good?

It's getting there, although you didnt really account for the darkest colours on Kakzor's piece, the dark blues and such. that;s kind of messing with the connectivity of them. Otherwise, it's a good start.

4 if it's open, 20 if it isn't. :\
