To be honest, I love the deisgn, but things like the unreal shading on the curl in the back of her hair and general odd shape of her head seem a bit offputting.

In addtion to what Dusty said, I should point out in the edit, the mouch seems to more than nessisary when the face it angled more towards the veiwer.

Ok I remade the legs and removed the hood to define her face more.



The only drawback was the color count was bounced up to ten colors.

noticed the torso was to long and the arms to short. -fixed.

Picture the innocent symbolic character that is little red riding hood. Give her a sinister personality and the skill of a demon hunter and you have what I was hoping to acomplish.



My first attemp to make pixel art while keeping the color count down.(9 counting transparancy)
I plan to make a few mock-up scenes for this, but first I need to get the character sprite down.

The only reason I used a direct overhead veiw was because it was a personaly request of the game devloper. Ease of use, link could turn without any odditys in his animation.(walking forward animation while walking diagonally.)

As for the ear movement, I was experimenting with the animation to give the apperance of link taking steps with impact rather than walking on air or somthing, clearly I didn't notice his ear moving. I'll fix it on the next update.

Started a walking animation for a friends game and frankly, somthing about it seems off, so any C+C would be great.


The sprite is in a directly overhead veiw for those who can't tell.
