Pixel Art / Re: God of War

Thanks for the critique though I'm still not sure what to do with the stance. Here's the update, I'd tried to fix as many things as I could and knew how to. Not sure if this is enough contrast but I mainly lightened up the non-outline colors. Seems a bit clearer now but could be better, I'm just not sure which colors I should change to add more contrast or if I should add another color instead. Made legs longer, and also filled in the missing pixel.

Let me know what you guys think  :)

Need some help fixing the legs and his stance. It seems a bit off to me and I'm not sure exactly which direction it should be facing and was hoping you guys could help me out. Any other comments or problems that you find with it feel free to tell me  :)

And if you cant tell, its supposed to be the character from the playstation game god of war.

Thanks to Sampe for the gift, I really like the cool design elements put into it, thanks alot.
Looking back I could've added alot more to the background of my scene to make it alot more interesting, I think I'll create a background for it and make a present addition.
Anyways snakes is just plain crazy  :o

You have it exactly opposite of what I was saying. Not HIS right, the one on the right from frontward perspective, meaning how it looks when we look at it. The new version for the feet do look better though but the arm positioning looked better before in my opinion as the arm you changed actually looked better before. Make the other arm straighter and see how it looks.

Very cute. I'm a big fan of final fantasy 7 and this looks pretty good. Main problems are anatomical issues. With the way you have his body position, the arm on the right looks like its curving in a way that would make it seem broken. I'm pretty sure making it straight would fix this problem. Another thing is the positioning of the feet. Right now it looks quite awkward the way it is and I think you should make the foot on the left slant slightly downward. Not sure if the black outlines work here for the hair but Im not sure if it would look dynamic enough if you didnt have it.

The shading on his buster sword is well done and you just need to fix a couple of those anatomical issues and it'd look real cool  ;D

Looks pretty good so far, the character has a lot of personality.
Main thing Id like to critique on is the placement of the chest. To me, right now it seems like that platform is made just for the chest making it seem a bit strange.

In this piece by kenneth fejer, the pot at the top left is shown more naturally on the platform and is not the only thing there.

Im looking forward in seeing what youre going to make the enemies  ::) I think bouncing hearts will look kind of cool and go with the punky theme and the hearts on the bombs. Good work.

Looking great so far. I'm interested in seeing how this game plays out. It'd be fun to see more artists adding to this and creating a huge list of available characters to use

This is really nice  :) The dithering on the mountains and the reflections look really smooth and dont draw too much attention from the focal point of the scene(the character), which is good. Not sure what to critique on this as it is truly a wonderful piece. One small point, might be just me, but the lone cloud there looks just a bit strange and kind of distracting. Either way, great piece  :y:
