I started working on a little knight animation, I kind of want to make a little platforming game using this character or something similar to him. I've just been messing around with it.
Anyways here it is:
I haven't done any spriting for awhile so I'm a bit rusty, I miss it though and want to get back into it. Hopefully this will give me a jumpstart.

the pixel low poly Game Boy ! (128*64, 12 tris)
I'm curious as to how you guys re doing these 3d pixels. I'm quite intreagued by them and am attemping one of my own at the moment, i've come across a problem though, my pixels come out blurry. do you somehow plan out how man pixles long it will be exactly while modelling it?

Well I did a search ad found a thread which didn't have much help in it. So i'm starting this one.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of some good places for webhosting for a portfolio. I've done some research but am unsure of what is trustworthy as I've found wicked deals for extremely cheap where as most places offer a quarter of the options for 3 times the price. So I'm just curious what you guys use or recommend.

I think the style and colours in this are incredible! Not sure why you think you have a colour problem XD. The hand holding the can is kind of hard to read and im not sure whats on his shoes (are those holes carved into them?) This is spectacular, i really look forward to seeing some of your other stuff.

Fixed a small limp the bloke had and shaded him up real nice. I'm so rusty at shading x.x anyways heres where im at so far. I'm working on baldening his bottom as well.

Haha wow, I am a beatles fan but I've yet to watch Yellow Submarine all the way through so I haven't seen that character before.
Anyshways, I added the extra frame the extra arm and an intimate quantity of sasquatch butt. Enjoy.
I didn't really think of a purpose for his walk, i just wanted to make an exaggerated walk cycle heh.

hrm ok so I erased the hands and started from scratch, i started off by making the arms move the opposite that they should x_x. So i tried again, so far ive only got 1 arm on him but I think it looks better to how it should... really choppy though that one frame really does make it pop alot and I dunno how I can fix the arm for that frame.
looking back at what I had before though I liked the ragdollish whip look to his arms....I might try and go back and get that effect. (not sure how to achieve that though.)
Edit: hrm...i suppose his head should be twisting opposite of this legs as well...i wonder if that would wreck the stoming effect though?

Welp, here is my sass walk. Still need to shade it and stuff but this is the basic animation I got done. I havent done pixel art ina very long time and I've learned a bit about animation so I'm trying to apply what i know now. Lemme know what youse think.
