fixed no. 50:

KAT, I think you can leave most of 48 just as it is. 17 and 35 are actually extending the plane that 34 is on, on the right side (the canyon in 17,35 allows us to see that plane) and so does tile 48 extend that same plane downwards. The only place were two completely different planes join each other is on the left lower side of 35/upper left border of 48 about half-way into the tile.

That's all that needs fixing, image to illustrate that coming up. The yellow line shows how most of tile 48 is fine as it's on the correct plane. The small black line shows where things need to get fixed as it currently looks like too planes of completely different orientation and placement in space connect there.

Yummy, I love how this is all coming together.

Here's a little update on tile number 8 to adjust for the insane(in a good way) level of detail everyone's doing. :)
Also in the image below is tile number 50, which was a lot of fun and a challenge to do to make it connect nicely to the neighbor tiles.

Some green alien creatures with dongles on their heads have landed to claim ownership of the territory. The snake is coming out of the crack to greet her new neighbors.

Number 8 for me please.

I have some questions of technical/organizational nature:
Is there a time limit until someones reservation is nullified in case he/she does not manage to submit anything?

Each tile has 4 borders and each of these borders is shared with another tile. Which of the borders(left, right, up, down) are part of the tile we do and which shall be part of the adjacent next tile?

If there is "nothing" in the space above/below/next to our tile, may we draw freely over the background color?

In general I would love to move on to coloring already but I need to get the lineart done first on this thing, because it is not entirely up to me to decide what items should be in the scene. There is an ongoing discussion between me and Andrei about the content of the title screen and how things will need to be composed to work in the game. I can only start coloring at the point where the content doesn't change anymore. (Andrei is the fellow who is designing and programming this freeware game(see the links in the first post of this thread).) I think/fear it will be more difficult to change things that are already colored and shaded than things that haven't progressed beyond lineart.

Btw, got another small step done today (bass playing chicken added).
