Pixel Art / Re: Wrong tape

Everyone, would it be better if I pixelated old guy in a robe? Damn.
The puppet is best in my opinion. Not everyone who has seen the film knows who the actual killer is, but rather they see many images of the scary clown face. The clown as i said before acts as a mascot for the jigsaw killer, which is a lot more applicable to this pixelween image.

Two things, Samara looks to good in the picture, and Jigsaws face is... not his face. He wears a pig mask. And some type of red and black robe.
alright mr. analyst, im pretty sure gas went for a cute like approach to samaras face for the portrait...and your master knowledge of the saw films is astonishing. Gas obviously wanted it to be samara vs. the puppet. the puppet doesnt have a name in the films but is the general mascot for the Jigsaw killer. Using the puppet instead of the real killer is a much more effective approach for this piece.

Gas, i love this, its executed perfectly in my opinion. i love the red phone, it stands out so well in the scene. It looks more sepia than black and white, and i like that more. The only think i think you could improve on, would be the text.

i apologize, i thought pixelation had finally embraced humour. i didnt mean for it to come off as a sarcastic jab...

omg itz my first try using pc. lol look @ u post.

umm, i use gale myself...but a program really does not determine your actually ability and knowledge of the medium. i can pixel just as well in ms paint, or in photoshop as i can in gale...its just a matter of preference. So im not judging this piece on your first time using gale because that is completely irrelevant. As simplistic as this is, the rocks are cute, i like them. The grass and dirt however need more substance.

Challenges & Activities / Re: Jumping Jack-o-Lanterns!

you need to define the features of the lantern eq. right now, it just looks like white orbs. They need to have depth of some sort. and the positioning of the features are also poorly thought out. even if they are all fleshed out and made to look like holes, it would look like.....3 random holes. i advise you to take another look at your piece and work it around a little more.

I don't get this trend, but please, finish and perfect the artwork first, it makes for much nicer art.
trend? what the heck? please explain that. How is a work in progress a trend, its just a method of achieving a final work of art.
