I canīt really give an in-depth critique as I'm not that experienced myself, but you might want to shift your hues towards blue for darker shades and towards yellow for lighter ones, for a start. Also, try uploading your images at 100% zoom, as the forums have a zoom functions built in. Also, I can't really see if the shading works or anything if it's this big.

I really like the way your big ol' stack of boxes looks. Looks very much like it could be a background object in a video game.. Either way, can't wait for you to show us your dirty boxes too~!

Okay then, it seems I'm not quite as finished with it as I'd hoped I'd be.
Seeing as these are points I can (relatively) easily improve upon.

Okay..  not sure if I've made it worse or a lot better, but I took a slightly different approach to the arms now, making them a bit more like arms and less like dangly root-threads.

Did that work out? Also darkened the shadows a bit and did some AA

I think it works if you consider that his cross-section is a circle rather than an ellipse, to explain the shoulder placement... and that would also allow me to figure out where his other arm should go...

also took another look at the eyes, this seemed to make more sense, and his attack is now crying (?) spores at you or something if you want to know what I based the decision off of.

Thanks, I guess Iīll take another look at the legs and eyes, but the arm I just couldnīt seem to fit in without making it look very weird, so I chose to leave it behind the figure. (Maybe you could try?)
As for the outlines, I did that to be in line with Terraria, so here's an example sprite from the game.

So that's more of a style restriction, wouldn't normally do it like that either.

I made this large boss/miniboss-type monster with 'Terraria' style restrictions, with the palette based largely of the mushroom sprite within 'Terraria'.

Thoughts?

First off, thank you for the edits, I feel like they really helped me identify my own mistakes. As for the pose, I was thinking about maybe animating this later so I think this is fine as for now.
I touched up on the skull a bit, thanks to yaomon17, you made me realise what felt off about my skull. Also redid shading in a few places and colours on the teddy bear.

I made this based on a drawing I made, I made it with 2x2 pixels in mind.
I've started meddling with pixels because of terraria, but I'd like to go in a different direction.
Some things about it don't feel quite right yet, maybe a lot of them.
Main difficulties were shading on the teddy bear and its colour palette (?), but I don't mean to say that the ghastly thing coming out of it is perfect :P
