I do not think the weight is on the right leg to be honest.

Pixel Art / Re: Idle animation for player character

I was planning on doing that, actually :D.
But this is his main idle animation so to speak, so after looping this 6 or 7 times maybe he could do something like that (because who doesn't like those lovable quirks that your character has?)

General Discussion / Re: Me working as a pixel artist

No offense, but your reasoning is extremely faulty. You only talk about what you want, but don't really refute any other argument. The truth is, there are many like you, getting paid for this quality of pixel art is nearly impossible. You probably have to just get a part-time job somewhere and practice doing pixel art in your free time (which is also what others suggested) and nothing you said, sounds like a better plan than this. When you put yourself out there, prepare to be bamboozled sometimes, your original intentions and thoughts may be challenged. Don't crawl back into your shell, learn from it!

It's not quite clear what it should be and it seems very, very flat. You could work on that, also you don't need to scale it up before uploading it here, the forum has a built-in enlarging function. If this is your desired size, don't be afraid to make it higher resolution and just scaling down to 1x1 pixels, that way you'll make much more recognisable creatures.

Interesting, how would you need to save files that have partial opacities, then, if they're for a game for example? As a spritesheet then, and let the game engine animate it?

First of all, if it's top down you wouldn't see so much of the trunk.
As for the foliage, try to suggest leaves more, at this resolution you can do much more than just general fuzzy round shapes.

I'd like to partake in the holiday cheer.

I like:
surreal memes, cats, things that are soft, skulls, wine, RPGs (fav is skyrim), fire, and eggs.

I dislike:
normies nah, idk, just nothing that doesn't include any of the above I guess.

Pixel Art / Re: Should I go with 1x1 or 2x2 pixels. What do you think?

Itīs easier to just rotate in the program youīre using and then clean up the result. Doing it in a vector program and converting it to pixels would still require you to clean it up, so itīs more time consuming.
