Pixel Art / Re: [WIP] Arm Anatomy

I like the new version of it but I feel that it lost something from the original, where it looked more like a creature with the extended forearms and sharp elbow, I thought those characteristics worked with it, in particular with the beast-like look it has.

It looks like they are made out of post-it-notes, which is awesome.

So basically we are making our own joke animal, kinda like the platypus.  I think I'm going to try a flying turtle squirrel, or some other similar mix.

I agree about adding some texture biggest thing about that though is the match, I think you should add a bit of a crosshatch on it so it gives it a grainy feel, same may work for the fish to give it a scaly look but it may mess with the cartoon style if overdone.

Wow, just, Wow.  That is awesome they are mostly recognizable without having to over exaggerate features, not that you would have had the space for it.  Of them all favorite is Optimus, but I agree that the shooting people all seem like they are bracing for a huge recoil.

Agreed, at 100% it looks like a chainsaw (or two) but upon enlarging it looks more like a minigun, perhaps highlighting the upper edge a bit more, but still keep it dark enough to allow the distinction from body and gun, or make it mor continuous for each barrel instead of having the darker line from barrel to tip.

Keep the chest as it is, smooth looks good on it, very clean look, yet still Doom-esqe (sp?)

I actually changed the distinctions in the shell to less because of a couple of turtles i have seen and some images i looked up on line.  I had a couple where it was darker but it really didn't look natural, probably just a bad color choice on my part, or distortion from my monitor.

Comment/Ideas for the background and extending it, right now I'm thinking of some sort of coral reef but I don't know if I will be able to pull it off.

I can understand what is going on just fine but I think it might follow a bit easier if instead of being "should we" you have "we should"

Also if you distinguish the two a bit more, maybe with just a logo/pixel on the shirt

Well I tried, it was fun, but I'm no good at this, also I think I made it bigger then I should have.

also despite thinking that mirroring is hideous in art, I did it.
