UPDATE:

Huge step in shading. Made another layer of shadow and some highlights. I'm very happy with the palette.
I dislike the shading on the tail. But I also dislike the tail, so I will edit that.

Any comments/critics?

There will be highlights, and I think I'm turning this creature in a ice-elemental, and later I'll be drawing a fire-elemental, also ghostlike. It's Art for my online game  ;)
I was carefull with the shading on the belly, cuz I don't want to pillow-shade again XD

Just a little thing to practice losing pillow-shading, and just having some fun.
I'm going to update it everytime, so don't say things like add another shading color, because I will. Those edits of u will be not usefull, unless it's about editing this shadow layer.
So, is there any pillow shading, and are there some points where more shadow could be added, to make it more ghostlike?

I think I should make the edges of the tail somewhat rounder, right ???

No, I'm not making the ghost transparant.

Thank you

Edited the pose of the legs, her "package" and the face. Hope this works out?

Nice edits you guys, I like those eyes, they look both friendly yet dangerous. The anatomy ( male/female problems ) is the reason I made a girl, I used to practice on males, but then I decided to do a girl for fun. Also making breasts gives an extra practice on shading.

You didn't scare me away. I live in the Netherlands, I sleep when u are awake  :P

What do you guys mean with "package"? Muscles? Or her personal space?  :blind:

I've practiced losing my pillow shading. That worked out pretty well, but now I've got a bigger problem: I can't get good eyes and a mouth on this piece!
Every type of eyes I try are scary looking on her, and the mouths don't work out either..

Help?

That's my problem. I don't know what it means exactly..

But I thought it ment like shading all around the object, so the dark shade is everywhere, not like right much shading and left none/a little. "not like right much shading and left none/a little" is good, I thought..

But can anyone help?

I always shade in the style of Pillow-Shading, and I want to lose that!

Can people tell me if this is pillow-shaded, or what could be better to make it less/not pillowed?

Most of the critics I get is about pillow-shading. I'm currently trying to remove the pillow-shading from my drawings. I started out on a simple sphere, with 2 light sources.

Is the pillow-shading gone? Or is it still there? What should I change? ( It's not about if it's a beautiful piece, it's about the shading )

If it's almost good now I'll perfect it ( try to ).

Greets.
