Very impressive. Especially the fish. I like it when I work out something that isn't explicitly pointed out to me. What's the deal with this flixel API? I remember you used it for gravity hook and I've been wanting it ever since.

Pixel Art / Re: [WIP][Nudity] AA help please?

The colours (green, blue, red, purple) represent an 8x zoom pixel - a pixel created out of 64 smaller pixels. The number of white pixels in each 8x zoom pixel is the first value (green is 4px, blue is 19px, etc) and the percentage is generated from the number of white pixels (green is 4px, blue is 19px, etc) over the total (64px). This percentage then corresponds to a colour value. The 6% represented by the green colour is essentially 6% white. This 6% white is the AA colour that should be used in place of the green 8x zoom pixel.

I don't know how well I explained that...

he's using doublewides so all his 45 degree angles require two stacked doublewide pixels to achieve the correct angle.

I often feel the need for more pen colours. Often my sketches start off as three or four colour pieces to lay volumes down and I can't help thinking that it'd be nice if i had a hot key to use another pen colour. When i'm in promotion this problem is solved by the colour cycling hotkeys but the 4 pen system definitely interests me.

For me the most alarming thing about this comic was that Science obviously has no backpack. So just where did he get his flashlight?

have you ever tried working without a lineart? Painting blobs of colour for shading and highlights and gradually adding detail to the blobs? You might find that it gives you much more realistic volumes. Currently i think that your head in the lineart is too large. You might want to get further along before asking for c+c though. If there isn't much to see people won't have much to say.

I don't know. You are kind of refusing to put any work in to make your piece better. I don't think I've seen you take on board one piece of critique so far and they were all very valid. You've already got a lot to work on. Come back when you are ready to work on something yourself and not have another person edit it for you.

New Zealand has red stars. Australian flag would be 9th from the left in the back row.

As for the piece itself it doesn't look like enough thought has gone into the design and not enough effort has gone into the execution. This is likely due to the large size.

Stop and go back to your reference. There are a lot of flaws in the construction. Maybe you were trying to change the pose but it hasn't worked at all. I think you probably haven't spent enough time drawing humans. The upper half seems to be inflated and the shoulders are too rounded. Her visible arm looks pretty mangled and small in comparison to the rest. The waist and hips aren't correctly constructed and the hips are probably not wide enough given your reference image. I suggest starting again and developing correct line art before colouring.
