I think this piece is done. Still taking c+c though. I did a vista default version to learn sometihng about the palette.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Trying to make the idle pose less stiff, so its animated more now. Also redrew the face, and chaged the reflected light on evreything. As always c+c appreciated, please.

Cuddly sir, cuddly. I would hug this panda. I like the colors and design. Great animation! I have seen others go with the broken line stumps like you did with the scarf and feet. I realize it may be a stylistic choice, but it always draws my eye in a distracting way. Why not try caping things off? I can tell the eyes are meant to look like they are squinted in a happy way, as in smiling eyes. One way to hit that home is to have a slight arc to them rather than straight line. Thanks for your help, you are constructive and considerate.

I like it :)
So far so good, only problem I can see is the shadow on her left side and hip.
That should probably be on the other side based on the way her neck is illuminated.

Welcome, I recently joined too.
Last edit to the lady is great in the way of contrast and definition.
The wing and sword could use a little more definition though.
When two objects of the same color are intersecting, there is usually a darker shade on the one behind.

Welcome, I am new here too.
I like the shading on the tree.
Iso animation can be hard, but I think you have gotten a good start.
Lots of iso animations don't have a noticeable knee bend like yours, so kudos on that.
However:
Your heel strike is looking more like a strangely alternating toe/heel strike.
The right arm does not bend at the elbow.
The chopping man skates back and forth on his feet.

Looking much more coherent now, you did well to follow up.
I like the addition of the smokestack.
Being that there appears to be wind blowing the sign towards us, maybe some smoke wisps in the same direction would be nice.
If the sign isn't supposed to be wind blown, it should follow a downwards line similar to the ladder.
This is really growing on me.

Pixel Art / Re: [WIP] Action platformer type character (walking, slashing)

Welcome, I just joined too.
Good idea to push yourself, thats important.
What you have here is not a walk animation, but it is in fact running.
If this is what you want, dont worry about it, I just want to help you think about your animation.
Walking animation should have at least one foot contacting at all times.
As for the hands, remember that the arms will be bent at the elbow, so dont worry that they will be too short when you draw them in.

I dont think the shades I used are reading right to people, so I redid them.

Thanks for that edit Terley, I really like lots of what you changed, especially the pick and jackhammer arm. Others have said the pose is off too. Guess I really should change it, but no one seems to get that the body lean and leg position is meant to be based on the weight of the pack. On your edit, it looks like you were going for a wider stance, but it kind of reads to me like the leg has moved forward, rather than just wider, and that would make him fall backwards because of the pack weight.
