hmm I wonder if increasing the height of the bobbing effect by 1 to 2 pixels adds more impact to his run.

Wow.. check this out guys  :o

<found this on Gaf>
Inkling by wacom

The Inkling is a "digital sketch pen" that allows you to draw or sketch on any standard piece of paper (a big advantage over Livescribe, which requires special notebooks) and automatically have a digital version created. The pen looks like a regular ballpoint pen, but is much more powerful than that. As you draw, sketches, mind-maps, or brainstorms all get captured, and are available just by connecting your pen to the computer. You can even create layers as you sketch, and edit drawings even easier when you get back to the computer. Files can be accessed in applications like Photoshop and Illustrator, or just viewed on the computer.

There's also a receiver that comes with the Inkling, which is likely how Wacom was able to avoid requiring special paper. The receiver clips to whatever page or notebook you're using, and requires an uninterrupted line of sight with the pen while you're working. It could be a little kludgy, as the receiver is fairly large and is one more thing to carry and set up when you want to work. Battery life for the system, Wacom says, is more than eight hours of working time, which is a good number, but still means you might want to carry a normal pen or the charging cable in case you have a full day's worth of sketching to do.

Pixel Art / Re: Zelda walking sprites [WIP]

The one facing north feels like he is more stomping rather than walking, So I tried fixing the issue by moving the lower garment by 1 pixel and change the lower body animation. There is still some inconsistencies like the front view.. notice how the arms sway. That's usually used for running

Usually with run and walk animation, the other side of the body which includes the the legs and arms are darker shades. But because of the hand gloves you used <which is dark> it kinda ruins the illusion of arms taking turns specially it's placed on the exact same position.

So here I moved the hands by a pixel. I don't think it's limp at all and out of curiosity added some movement on the head

Where did you based your run animation?
At the legs full stride the arms is already shifting halfway.. Is this natural or just used when there are like 10+ frames?
<the one with the green box is the original sprite>

Also the colors for the hand gloves is already dark so, wouldn't it best not to place those arms/hands on the same position?

There is so much brightness/highlights at his left shoulder, would it better if it's a bit subtle? I made this sloppy edit  :)

[additional edit]
I forgot to address this parts, sorry about that.
I made a fast edit on the pants to make it look slim <don't know if it serves it purpose, perhaps baggy pants is better>, then raised the right arm by 1 pixel.
