Tried to do square multi-colored pixemoticons that we can pixel with.

The colors can be changed to a better palette.

[edit]

16x16 version and another without the outline
(better to pixel with)

General Discussion / Re: Help with my monitor setting

If you want to make a very good monitor calibration without fancy hardware I recommend this site:

The RGB color gamma chart can be found here for a fine tuning:

My vote goes to Minish Cap, because it looks very detailed even with big areas of flat color and that's something I really want to learn how to use, specially for backgrounds. DC has a similar approach but it makes everything turns into shadows and I think that's not too difficult to achieve.

Unfortunately I'm busy lately and I think I won't have opportunity to finish my tiles very soon. People are submitting very fast so I thought it was better post what I have so far just in case someone take a tile next mines.

Here is a sketch to show what i have in mind and a quick cleaned version:

Now I see that snake an I had similar ideas. For me this collab has a very Cambodia's temple feelling.

just wondering, how do we deal with the conflict when two people reserve adjacent spaces, and dont know what the other artist is doing in that space?
Yeah, I thought that too and you really messed with my tiles :P
But don't worry, I can handle it.  ;D

@Rerg1 - sorry but you can only reserve blocks of the same color.

I'm posting this just to people remember to check the lightsource before start shading, in this case top-left. This can avoid some incompatibilities in the future.  ;)

Great sprite Seven, and nice portrait.  ;D

Only one crit: the skintone in the fighter's pose is too saturated compared with the rest of the sprite.
I made an edit to show you what I mean. I took all the colors from your own portrait.

If you compare them in a darker background you will see that the skin of the original doesn't fit with the style of the other colors. The skin standout too much.

Now I see that you have a lot of talent Seven. Someday maybe we can make a game together.  ;)
