I've just noticed... there's no transparency index in that pallette? ('arnes' pallette) - surely color zero should be transparent therefore maknig you color choice only 15?

(oops sorry I meant to post this on the Invasion Frenzy thread... got mixed up with my windows...) :S

OK my mistake... SSF2 - and if you wanna be really pedantic... 'the new challengers' - included - thawk, cammy, Fei long and Deejay... enough already... back OT.

I think the reason why your ship reminds me so much of T.hawk... is that it it looks like a Thunder bird... from the Native American myths... it's got a certain totem pole ness to it...

NOW you've mentioned the centaur that fully explains what's going on with the hips on this piece...

I've been putting off posting on here cos I'm busy, but it's doing my head in that the upper body and the lower body are incongruous. If you drew a spine in where would it be? If you drew a pelvis in, where would it be?

You've got the pelvic mass tilted up and forward toward the viewer and it looks just wrong. The thorax area isn't right neither it's like twisted akwardly.

I hate to say this but I serioiusly think you should do some major reworking if you want this to anatomically conform to some semblance of reality...?

I'll post and edit soon to illustrate my point.

Look at these areas? >>>  <<<<My overlaid (sort of anatomical) scribble.

This guy once asked me to do that for a tonne of animated sprites. I didn't do it becuase it would be friggin tedious. Interested to know if there is a program that can do that,
take an animated gif and convert it into a sprite sheet.

d'yer not use promotion sharp?? Another one of those "wouldn't it be good if" features it has...

I don't know why but that reminds me of THAwk from SF2?

I've never been a fan of Craig Harris Reviews... but 8's a good score... 7.5 for Gfx though... sheesh...  :yell: what a piss poor comment too...  "looks good but a visual step back wards..." WHY BECAUSE it's not 3D...! What a Wanker... [/rant]

Great line up adam... nice to see you had a hand in it too... ;)

*The last big issue, which I know can be hard to help with. He looks to young, even though I think it is partly because of my personal style I would like him to look
A bit more like 21 and not like 12. Tried to make his legs longer, shoulders wider, even tried changing the outline of the face but he still looks like a kid.

Firstly I have to ask... do you ride?

Secondly... the reason why you look so young is the proportions of the head to the rest of the body... which is (as many others will happily point out) is suffering from severe animangaitus - a common disease that many artists appear to suffer from... such is the way of things.

May I suggest you adapt your 'personal style' to something more... well... personal... and not what everyone else does? What happened to individualism?

I don't know... perhaps thats a bit harsh... but one tends to bore of Manga stuff after a while...

Try shrinking the head to fit the body more in keeping with correct proportions for an adult... and try and render the face less Akira and more Illsnidig...

Also, the pallettes really rough, you need to try and make it less contrasting... and learn to anti alias.

On a postive note... the pose is kinda ok and the lines are pretty good...

it's just that animangaitus you need to take some pills for I think... :)
