Changed the characters shading a bit. More contrast from the body and the head. Also removed some unneeded white from the eyes.

Since I was mistaken earlier, I felt I owe you a bit more. Your hair while fiery as you intend is 100% saturated. Not visually pleasing at all. Here I just adjusted the colors a bit.

I think the black outline is unnecessary with his small size. His forarms are really long looking, and the space you have of 1 pixel around the left wrist makes it looks weird too. I know that the blade is large and heavy, but I suggest raising it up (the arms I mean) to get a cleaner silhouette.

The knee pad on the far leg (his left) when it goes back shouldn't be the same as the right leg. It would be less visible not the same as the right, because of the angle.

I edited the palette some for more contrast. I didn't edit anything else though. Usually you make the main character pop out in shape and color/contrast.

No, it looks like she has motion blur. Don't pillow shade, it's most visible on the legs. Define a light source and stick with it. Remember to shade volume not the shape of the line art.

The head still doesn't seem to pop out enough as you would be expecting color wise. Perhaps some more saturation with his head. His claws also look puny and weak. A different background color would also help.

The alien is brilliant! Do you think you could make his head slosh about in his helmet? Might not work at such a small scale...

I was thinking about it but I did a little experiment of his head sloshing around in a walk cycle and it doesn't look quite right. Maybe I could do it for the idle sprite? A larger scale would make it more visible.

Draco9898, there are reasons for spraypaint tools that's why they are there. I'm not using mspaint, using deluxe paint, and I also believe I stated that it was filler. I'm going to go back to the starry sky look.  ::)

Going to mess about with the older style I had going on (the red and orange with stars in sky) and see what I can come up with. Thanks for all the advice. It helps.
