Pixel Art / Desert Rock Plateau critique

Hey guys, I made this desert rock plateau but I think the texture may be too messy. Can someone critique it for me and suggest how to improve it? I may have put too many details in it so if you go beyond 2x zoom it becomes hard to look at. Thanks in advance!

Pixel Art / I could use feedback on color and texture!

Hi everyone! I'm making an rpg game set in a desert world and I'm currently working on color schemes, sprites and textures. I can make sprites just fine but textures and good use of color are difficult to me.

Anyway, I'm asking for feedback on the colors I'm using here, what do you think about that? And I've been trying to texture the path for hours now but nothing good comes out, can someone recommend me a technique that would work well? Or does it need texturing at all? Thanks in advance!

Pixel Art / Need some help with pixel sprites

hey guys!

I am making a pixel art rpg and I've just finished pixeling the main character (the guy in the green robe) next to it are two random npc's. I am quite pleased with how it turned out but some people are commenting that the main character's head is too small. I don't see it personally but I would like your opinions on it. Note that the two npc's have unnaturally large heads and the main character is a normal sized human. If you have any other feedback on how to improve my sprites you are more than welcome to critique them!
