Quick and dirty edit.
Just points on his stance and form.
I corrected the position of his legs so he's more balanced.
His hat.
His left arm (mines not very good though)
And I tried to do a better nose and moustache, I didn't do a good job, by sort of corrects the perspective problem with them... sort of.

I don't know if I like where there is going.

I'm glad I ended up going with that design.
willfaulds: I hope it's ok that I stole that chest belt thing, he really needed something like that.

So, colors and shading. As you can probably tell it's not my strong point.

I didn't go with the second design because I didn't think I'd be able to scale it down well enough (the original design was the one on the bottom by the way).

I think I will go with that design. Coloring seems to be my problem right now, but I'll post another edit before I get on to that.

This is a character for use in a game.
I want to get the design right before I start animating, obviously.

This is the one I'll probably go with (after it's improved a bit of course).

Here is the design I did before this.

And here's the original.

The first would be the easiest to animate. But let me know which one you think is best.

I gotta start taking advantage of this thread.
Here's something I just did for about 20 minutes or so.

Problems that I have (at least ones that I know I have difficultydoing):
I'm completely lost when drawing legs. Joining the pelvis to the thighs I find extremely hard and I throw dimensions out the window when I go below the knees.
I also can't draw feet. I am terrible at foreshortening (probably why I can't draw feet) and I also have trouble joining hands to wrists.
Can anyone show me the volumes of the areas where I clearly don't have an idea about (eg. Legs, Forearms)?

woah. Some people take their tarot cards a little too seriously.
I think it looks good except maybe the yellow background is clashing with some of the yellows on the character.

A very rough edit addressing what I feel are some of the problems. I've probably created more problems in the process but I hope it's of some use.

Damn I was gonna do Big trouble in Little China too.

Exactly my thoughts. "American History X - Curb Stompin' Mania!" came to my mind when I read your comment

That's a bad comparison.
Mice's game didn't have a gay basher as the hero going around beating up gay men, the gay man WAS the hero!
I have no problem at all with a game where you have to avoid being killed by Nazis. In fact, there's heaps of those.

The movie is a work of fiction! That wasn't a gay man getting beaten up, it was an ACTOR PRETENDING to get beaten up.
Let it go, I hope Mice puts it back up.

I think the blues and purples are a mistake. Makes it look too cold. Even a little bit of red somewhere would make it look nice.
