I think it's a monitor problem on your end.

I can see the separation of the canvas and the background on your screen-shot moderately well (Although it does blend quite a bit).

The left leg's the trouble right now.

I tried to align his knee-caps, but his stance still looks a bit uncomfortable (standing with knees bent).
But it should look okay if its animated as an idle-pose or something.

Your character's looking pretty good so far, although there's a bit of [pillow-shading] going on in his clothing.

You could have just edited the title for one of your previous threads (Such as this one?)

It looks like his back is missing right now.

However, I'm really sure that you'd get better critiques from something that was... you know, a bit more complete.

Supposed to be a fast midair sword slashing animation.

I think the problem is that the sword appears to be attached to the guy's shoulder.

Only two now. But still crap!

It currently looks like the little guy's madly flailing his arm around (painfully!)

So I edited an actual sword into the frames.

Apologies if I missed the entire point.
Love how cute the characters are though.

That would be Arne's work.

In the side view, It appears that his right leg is the only leg to ever go behind while his left leg always goes forward.
This makes for an awkward pose in the fourth walking-frame where his arms and legs (right and right, left and left) are moving towards the same directions.
However, your front/back views show that the arms and legs on one side of the body are always going in opposite directions, so I think it might just be the positioning of the underpants that is making me look at this oddly.

The kicking animation also looks a bit off.
It appears that in the second frame, he is on his left leg while twisting his body towards the left.
But in the third frame and onward, I think he is suddenly balancing on his right leg while his left leg is in the air doing the kick.
If he was supposed to be standing on his right leg from the beginning, I think it's the disappearance of the right arm that threw me off.

Hope you don't mind me editing,

The blue conveys the limbs from the right side of the character's body while the green traces the limbs on his left.
I hope this makes my explanation a little clearer.

What...is it? some kind-of purple crab?

Looks like it's supposed to be a bird's eye-view of a wizard or something?
Purple hat, wand and scroll in hand.

It's kind of odd that everything moves except for his torso.

Also, when your left leg is out, it's natural for your right arm to also come out.
Same applies to right leg/left arm. ;)

So far, I've only animated the little guy attacking while facing South, but I've found myself facing a gameplay dilemma: how to control two knives???
My original idea was to map each to its own button, but that turns out to be awkward and confusing. Please help!!

I suppose the best way would be to check for the Shift key being quickly pressed a second time to make a combo of sorts?
Otherwise, I'd imagine he should use both weapons with a single press of the Shift key.

I also need to think of a good health pick-up (other than hearts.... grrr zelda.....)
Medicine? Food?

Chrome is pretty speedy, but watch out for Google's EULA!

Initially, by installing Chrome, the user pretty much gave Google permission to use anything that the user posted anywhere.

Google then said "Oops!" and things may be okay now?

In addition to that,

Chrome's "Omnibar" can also access all keystrokes a user types, and Google will store some of this information along with IP addresses.

Having a browser do this is kind of creepy any way you look at it.
