By far the easiest cartoon character to recreate. I love you, Plank.

I'm happy that you're feeling inspired by the forum, but I'd love to see you continue to work on any one of the 6+ pieces you've started.

Yeah, I usually just skip to the fun stuff. I blob, roughly chisel, detail. However, if I were working on something more substantial, there would be several blobs on the page in a few different shades. Yeah.

This WIP video will end up as multiple parts, and possibly edited together as one video. I stopped only because my hand began to cramp up. There are several areas that I never touched up, but those areas will be addressed later.

The work is done in MSPaint. When this piece is finished, I'll post another created in Pro Motion.

The video is about 20 minutes long (sped up 600%).

I see this:

Didn't see that Akzidenz modified his post. Good thing, as I don't have time to make anything. Woohoo!

Honestly, Terley, I never modified the palette. I promise. I used the palette from http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/9796/zeldascreencolourconceplk7.gif

Opacus, I prefer the colors of the previous edit; these new ones have far too much contrast. (Unless you plan on adding some buffer shades, I would advise you stay clear of low color count / high contrast. It will just make the picture grainy when attempting to dither.)

The palette is actually quite nice. You should be able to clean this up...a lot. If you'd like, I can post an edit and show you how I'd go about doing it.

I'm not much of a pet person, and I'm certainly not a fan of felines... However, I really want one of those hairless cats. They're so creepy cool.

Don't get too ahead of yourself; Save the dithering for the very end.
The eye is too high up and the ear is too small.

Keep going 'cause it's looking good.
