Pixel Art / Re: [WIP]Danger Dinosaur Danny et Werewolf Game Mockup

Hi Sherman,

here's a quick&dirty "reality-check". I was not sure what movement type you intended, so I tried the easiest one. Did you have anything in mind? The girl is moving unaccellerated with 4x2 pixels in a direction on each animation frame. In slowmo-mode you see the girl "hovering" over the ground. While this would be a problem on a slow walking-animation, I think this could maybe not bother anyone at full running speed.

Keep up the good work!

In each animation frame, at least one leg is on the ground. I have seen this running style in some animes, but like this the animation looks a bit like ice-skating. So if you want to add more frames to the the animation, why not adding 2 more frames where no leg touches the ground? I would say, between frame #1 and #2 and another between #4 and #5.

The running animation... (using the run part of the "movements of the two-legged figure" as template. But with streched legs and turned into isometric view in order to match the shape of the hero)

Well, I know which industry I will stay away from professionally now. It looks to me like too much BS, not enough benefits. I'd rather develop a game in my free time and find a way to make some money off of it.
One hint from someone who made the same decision: Try to team with 1-2 peeps, otherwise your job and all this "real life" stuff ;) will definitely hold you back from creating marvelous games...

Hey, quite nice! But I think it would improve if you make his arms smaller. (If you want to match this big-head-small-body style) Now, the arm-dimensions match the head-dimensions,  but it should match the dimensions of the body - shouldn't it? The face: I think the "nose-mouth" part looks unfinished. (like there is a placeholder for the mouth) Also the bottom his left breast could mabe be moved a bit more to the top to reflect the perspective better. Only 1-2 pixels maybe.

Yes, I am still alive... I tried different types of doors, but failed. So I used the energy walls for the doors. (They could fade away maybe) And there's a new type of floor. And a status display with item select and radar. So, maybe no longer wip...

If you only want to have a silhoutte, then I see three options: change the position of the "problem-arm", change the perspective, or... animate it! (I would prefer that last) ;)

I would suggest a solid shadow (even if the background is textured)
<-old <-black <-grey shadow

A) The centurion-robot in corrected perspective (thanks, sharprm)
B) Finally, here he is. Our hero. Brave enough to kill all robots. Sort of. Well, somehow he lost his pants...
C) Finally, here he is. Our hero. Brave enough to kill all robots. (he is unnamed, yet)
D) Our hero (with trousers and more shading on the breast, better?)
E) Our hero (He needs a gun, of course)

It seems like he is too small for a face, isn't he? It was somewhat hard to shade him, does not look as good as the robot.  :(

Lots of promotion fans here.  ;) I have just downloaded the feature-restricted "proMotion 5 demo" with wine on Xubutu.
Unfortunately, it's way too slow (about 1 second delay after each mouse move). Also the tool-windows hide everytime behind the main window after I have moved the main window. Did you test a newer version?
