Background made me notice some white pixels, so don't worry about those :P

So this is a tile-set that I have been working on for a few days, and while I am happy it is done... i know it isn't.. well... done.  I think I need help with the colors and I want to say that the feel we are going for is "spooky" and it will be housing nice versions of usual enemies in other games like skeletons, zombies, and scarecrows (oh my).

So here is the image, any suggestions would be great :)

(In case it is that bad and I just don't notice, it is a thatch roof and cobble walls).

Also, the blank space in the middle isn't important, just where I put some tiles that I will reuse.

Make sure to look at some real planes and stuff too. That helped me a ton when I was doing designs for ships for a past project, I sat down in my school library and went pure 4th grader on an airplane book and went and looked at pictures. XD

Lots more shading! :)

There is a bunch of round stuff like the chest, dragon, pile of gold, try to get as much depth using shading as you can.

This piece has so much awesome potential, the hat made me chuckle at work.

I really like this animation and would really have to knit pick and just stir up suggestions to really give any critique. I wish I could slow down the animation to make sure, but I think that the left leg (for the player) is missing the white that the right leg has throughout the animation. It makes it look like it is slightly a different style on each leg. Also on the last frame the pants lack any of the colors used for the belt/pockets.

Other than that there isn't much about the animation that I can find, very well done OP.

I think the donut looks good larger like that. It is really letting the viewer know, THIS GUY HAS A FREAKIN' DONUT.

Try this last one but bring in the chain mail design onto the legs like you had in the original, that way it shows a difference between the plate and the leg parts (can't think of the name).

Maybe bringing the top of the head down a bit when he leans to sip. You might also want a slightly different color of outline for the cup so it doesn't blend with the outline of the head. Or at least see how it looks. Idk :P

Make sure to bend those elbows. Walk around a bit and just watch yourself. Try exaggerating your walk a bit too :)
Do the same for jumping too. I think you will realize there is a lot more motion in the preparation for the jump.
Good luck with the art. I am looking forward to seeing more.

So the bottom right should have a diagonal line just like the top right part of the picture.

I am also going to challenge you to shade the character in the D with respect to the light source (the sun). Focus on the face and the jacket.

For the legs your knee is a little too far down on the leg, remember that your thigh is shorter than your calf.

It is looking a lot better though, I like the illumination effect that it has.
