Good work!

The anatomy seems to be checking out so far, the right foot (our left) seem to be a bit wonky, though. Still, great work!

I have no criticism to give because it is just too awesome. My favourite part is the lip-syncing of the voice lines.

Don't feel too bad about yourself. Being bad at something is the first step at being sorta good at something (quote by Jake the Dog of Adventure Time). I would highly recommend studying similar animations made by people who are good at animating, studying on animation theory (there's an entire thread about it here), and starting smaller.

You could definitely use a symbolism for cash, instead of cash itself. Stuff like gold, a piggy bank, a sack of money. If I was going to put this on a kickstarter page, I would definitely make it bigger, to be more noticeable. I'll try and make a mock-up if I have time, but looking great so far!

more wip

@MysteryMeat I've decided to just give him a clean, spiffy look. I also changed the arms to a more "artificial joint" kind.

@Pizza Tom I, myself, am really not satisfied with how the face looks. I've been thinking of ways to make him look more robotic, but am stuck, if you have any ideas, I'll be glad to hear them. And, yes, I'll try to slim his face down.

Pixel Art / Re: [CC][WIP][OC] Main menu for mobile game.

I would definitely recommend you embed the video, upload it as a moving .gif, or upload it as a still .png. Seeing only links will often make people leave because they don't see anything right away.

As for the main menu, looking great! It moves a tad too much, though. So I had limited opportunities to study it closely, and also because I couldn't zoom in on a video. In light of this, I would really recommend uploading individual assets from the main menu as still .png's, so that anyone could look at them closer and properly.

You could work on your colours. Give them more contrast to better distinguish the shades, because right now, they're far too close too each other to be making a difference. Your shading seems to be fine, you seem to have a good grip on staying consistent with your light-source.

Also, it should be noted that you shouldn't uploading your pixel art in zoomed format, as Pixelation has a built-in zoom function in it's forums.

Pixel Art / Re: [WIP][CC] Chibi Commission

Working on the mouth now. Had to move the right eye (our right) a pixel to the left because it looked weird.

You should add more distinction to your colours. As right now, the hair reads to me as one single color, and the outline of the mouth is not visible, more contrast would easily remedy this. The form of the character seems to be okay now, colors seem to be your current issue. You could the same colours for the eyes and the belly-shirt, as they are both green.

edit: also, I don't know if anyone has addressed this, but were you paid for this? A commission is something you were paid to do.

Fair enough! You did a good job replicating that then, it's a matter of personal taste that I find it goofy haha

I would say to try cleaning it up a bit more though, there seems to be a lot of darker pixels that make it look kind of off.

Do you mean the scratch and bruise marks? Those were intentional, as Quote is a robot built for combat and fighting.

Your objects lack shape and shading. Establish a light source and shade according to where the light is coming from. Right now, everything looks flat and dull.
