@MysteryMeat

I've noticed that before, but I can't make it adhere to perspective even more without making it look weird.

more progress

I've started to outline and shade him. Started at his right arm.

@eishiya  well just to clear up any confusion about his arms, you see:

I made this anatomy chart to clarify his body's composition. As you can see his skeleton has very little upper body.
This is why the new power suit was needed. His previous body armor wasn't designed specifically for him, but it was all he had. llij could easily see that . . .

He looks like a ball with a dick inside it.

nice

I did make some guidelines though, they just don't show in the wip image.

I don't have a mouse at hand, right now, so I went the lazy way and used the perspective transform tool to try and adjust the body of the guitar a bit.

The perspective in it's current state is very all over the place. What style are you trying to mimic. A mega-man like perspective, or something like LoZ?

I feel guilty that I never actually finish things that I post on here. Everything I start gets put on the side because I'm always so busy  and it gets lost in my files and I never have a chance to continue them :( I've just started on this (no promises on seeing it getting finished) fanart of Brian Patrick Carrol (a.k.a Buckethead) that incorporates perspective/vanishing-point. It's in extremely wip stages and I mainly want advice with the proportions and perspective.

This is actually in 3:4 perspective, not top-down.

left 3:4 - right top-down

You could improve the looks of it by studying color theory and improving your picking of hues. Things like contrast, hue-shifting, luminescence etc.

More progress.

I've added another shade because I'm getting bothered by the crispness of the pixels, and that's not what I'm going for. I've also added outer-AA and started linework on the legs. No progress on the neck one just yet.

Thanks, wzl!

I tried to fix all of the issues you've mentioned. Made the shoulder bigger and lower, made the pecs bigger and more accurate. As for the arms, I was also not sure if it was correct, I tried studying some references and matched them the best I could. I also added another shade to smooth things out a bit more.

I was aware of the issue with the neck even before you pointed it out, as I was already studying the neck.

I've started coloring it in and addressing all the issues aforementioned (such as the sternum, the arms and odd leg muscles). Looking for more advice.
