Pixel Art / Re: Cooking animation

Nice job! I would reduce the background's contrast so the foreground objects stand out more. There are a couple of moments when they blend a bit into the background because the color is similar.

Looks a lot clearer now!
I think the floor tiles are a bit too noisy.

Yeah it feels better now.
His left foot stands out a bit to me. Having two positions instead of turning it every frame might look better... I think? But I'm just nitpicking now.

I'd remove a couple of frames from the swing. It feels heavy and slow.

Well the first one is just randomly placed pixels. Try to avoid that.

The second one is way better. There's less noise and you can see some purpose in the placement of the pixels. Still a bit random but there's some meaning.
Look for tilesets from games you like or just google "16x16 grass tile" and you will find lots of references and ideas.

You could improve the readability doing something like this

The detail in the ear grabs too much attention, and the fact that the face is covered doesn't help.
It took me more than usual to know what was going on :P

I at least read the image way easier with these two little changes.

The sword arm looks a bit tiny I think? Or is it because of the foreshortening. It's a tricky thing to do in pixel art.
