Hey there. I saw your post and I came to give my advice so I hope it helps!
So you want a color palate similar to these games as well as a style?
I would suggest making observations first-hand.
What do you notice? what colors do you see? How would you describe it? The mood for the colors, as well as the style.
Things such, as that nature.

@Vagrant and @Atnas
I'd like to ask a few questions if I may.
May I ask what a smudgeguard and a sliding cushion is? i've honestly never heard of them before!

So recently I did something I rarely do in digital art ever,
take my time XD
This took me about 4 days and the whole process was lengthy but I think it was worth it.

Background was inspired a bit by a game called Yume 2kki definitely recommend checking the game out!

Found a new lineart brush and wanted to test it.
Plus I wanted to test out my painting and color skills.

This originally started out as a hand study. Which honestly, I haven't drew a hand at least realistically anyways at least a long while ago or never?

Then I decided hey lets draw a nose and paint that I probably need to improve on drawing noses-

Then I drew a clown nose...

And it kinda got sidetracked and just played around lol.

Also forgot to say thanks to anyone that commented on my last little doodles.
Glad you like them!

Pixel Art / Re: Pepper Pixel WIP

@Atnas I studied your edit and edited my pepper to hopefully look more like a pepper this time, as well, as look at some peppers too lol.

Honestly, I think out of this whole thing about pixeling a pepper has made me understand more about pixel art and colors.

Which in turn im honestly super happy about since I've been desperately trying to improve my colors and such.
This has been very insightful so far .  :)
