  • Various other scenery graphics
All graphics must be detailed and original. Sizes of art will vary on the specific project.

The job will be on a per-project basis. Payment amount will depend on experience and quality of past work -- but will be set prior to you having to begin any work. Time of payment can be negotiated (deposit, milestones, etc). Payments will be made through PayPal only.
If you desire BTC as a payment, we will only pay upon completion of project.

Please post your Discord ID or Skype, along with your portfolio. You can also PM if you're uncomfortable with posting publicly.

Job offers / Pixel Icons / Characters
« on: May 19, 2018, 06:47:03 pm »
Hi guys! I'm currently looking for some icon sets for my website, PixelMarket. I would like to make the jump to more professional and unique icons for a few new applications that I will be adding to the site.

The best part is that my site is themed around "Pixels" as well.

Work:
  • The work would consist of a couple dozen icons that would be used as "badges" for my site, and sizes would be in the range of 30x30 - 50x50.
  • I'm also looking for some pixelated "people"--or characters-- that would serve different uses. These would be in the area of 80x80.
  • I would also have additional work if the first two bullet points work out. Work with more detailed and larger images for banners, etc.

I can provide more details either through PM's here, but may get a quicker response if you add my Discord Lorem#4165 or email me at admin@pixelmarket.net

I am technically looking for a special type of pixel work, so if you could provide some previous work or portfolio that would be great.

If you could also provide an estimated rate of pay, whether you do per image or per hour

I have received way more interested artists than I intended! Almost two dozen, haha. If I haven't answered you yet, it's because I haven't had the chance to look them all over. So far you all look talented. I don't like ignoring people, so I'll let everyone know once I find the right person.

Thank you all again!  ;D

Job offers / [PAID] Pixel characters for future website

I'm opening a website in the coming months called PixelMarket.net that will supply a safer environment for buying/selling virtual items and services that other sites.  Since I used to be an avid gamer and enjoy classic games, it's only natural that I want some of the graphics on the site be pixelated.

These characters would represent different pages of the sites, so for example, a "vendor" character for the vendor list page. Though the gameplay wasn't the best, I always somewhat enjoyed the art style of the game called MapleStory. The characters/NPC's in the game have a slightly larger head in proportion to their body, and most aren't that incredibly high in terms of resolution. So if you're familiar with that style of sprites, then it's a definite plus.  Some other pages would be How To's, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Policies, Knowledge Base, Contact, About Us, Register, Log In, etc. Basically, many common pages found on most websites.

Some-to-a little animation would be preferred, to prevent large load times for the page. Sizes would range anywhere from 150-200px wide by 200-250px tall.

I can pay by the hour ($15/hr +)or by the image if it's easier for you.  There would be an opportunity to do more work in the future as it becomes needed/available.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you're interested then please let me know by providing some examples of your work :)

Private messages, posts, Skype or email contact are welcomed.

a finished image in 300x300px is usually a lot of work, far beyond the 25usd budget :)

25-30usd per hour is a reasonable fee per hour for someone with skill. cf http://wayofthepixel.net/index.php?topic=571.0
I completely understand larger pixel graphics that are of your quality, or the quality of some others here, would definitely be worth more than $25. However, the one I purchased has nowhere near the level of detail when you compare them. The little snippet in my original post is a small part of it.

I suppose I don't have real experience with graphics cost, or how much time it takes to do any sort of project.

This is just one I grabbed off Google really quick:

It's about the same quality as the one I had made. Would that be worth the $25? (serious question so I can judge in the future lol)

Job offers / Custom pixel characters for website

Hey guys, I'm so glad I found this website!

I'm looking for someone who's capable (judging from most portfolios I looked at, most of you here) of creating some Pixel graphics for a new website I'm working on.  I'm really not sure how much most of you charge, but I purchased my initial one from Fiverr and it cost me $25. I can't really afford to cough up $25 for each graphic I need at the moment.

Graphics would include different kinds of characters, simple objects, or help with banners. Things needed for specific pages, so on a FAQ page, maybe a detective looking character or something.

Most of the characters or objects would be around the 300px by 300px range. Sometimes maybe more, sometimes less.

I can offer per finished image, or maybe work something out more long term.

Also, I'm not looking for anything TOO advanced, or even animated. The first character I purchased is pretty basic compared to what most of you guys are capable of lol

I can pay via Paypal.
