Pixel Art / Re: Pixel Art Pack

I'd love to see you keep producing content and improving, these designs are all quite entertaining. Try working on making your shadows more intense/harsher. It would boost your perspective, and make your images a lot better.

Pixel Art / [WIP] Battle animation
« on: April 21, 2016, 05:06:06 am »
I have been working on this so off and on for so long. I haven't been able to draw as much because of life interference, but I finally got it to a presentable point I feel. I am using this as practice for my animation so I may improve. The reason his swing is stopped abruptly is because I plan on animating a block.

the reason the attitudes are like this is because there's a super egotistical group that formed out of the members here and they have driven away a lot of people

look no further than the slack chat to find this group, they frequently talk negatively about everyone there, it's no surprise that their negative attitudes are now leaking into the forum

If people talk behind other people's backs in private that's their business. You shouldn't let nay sayers stop you from participating in an activity you enjoy. Sure they can make it less enjoyable, but it's the internet, you'll end up finding someone you can respect on here I'm sure.

@capta1n_Henry It's as simple as practice. If you wanna get better you have to invest more time into it. I would recommend starting on something smaller at first. Your pieces are rather large. Try making a sprite in a 100x100 or even a 50x50 sized canvas, and see what you can do. Try to focus on setting an actual light source, and work on implementing shadows into your work.

Wonderful style. I especially enjoy the 2nd sprite. Do you plan on animating these?

Pixel Art / Re: [C+C] [WIP] Flying dragon

A dragon wouldn't really fly like that unless it's taking off or trying to raise elevation, or decrease falling speed. A neutral flying, would actually be more like a glide, where the wings are still.

Is she standing near a tornado? I think the wind could be slowed down a bit actually.

Interesting process. Though I think it would be better to draw it by hand to actually make it pixel art. Adding effects on an image or 3d model just kind of makes it look unnecessarily pixelated. This would give you a great reference however to base a pixel piece off of.
