Some times in art you gotta exaggerate some things to make it feel right, give her more of them titsies and maybe I would change something about eyebrows :D but that's just me

The left one other than boobs doesn't feel like a girl if you know what I mean. Body type itself is boy like and her second arm is in the weird location ;)

I like it but light should fade away into the shadow the further it  travels, right now it only has one lighting level and it looks sort of odd :) other than that I love it ;) and the night color could be different

I am pretty sure there is a free 2d lighting asset in unity asset store ;) - since you talked about lighting in 2d and unity ;)

So I made some progress regarding UI,
would love to hear your thoughts, what in your opinion doesn't look right here ;)

I am still a beginner so don't take my word for granted.

I like it overall, but ear is a tad flat and square
Eyes are also sort of cut out from the bottom
not sure where light comes from but nose could have some shadow on the side.
And lastly probably, I am not a huge fan of black pixels, I would rather use darker brown, but that's just me :)

I like it so far but I think it could be more complex considering detail in the hair :)

Added a few pixels myself just to illustrate my point :)

and this is my first attempt at making myself out of pixels from back in the day - community helped me a lot ;)

And one more thing, feet and legs usually move one after the another when swimming and not in sync, if you know what I mean :) nice edit though

I use gimp, though some more specialized program would do better

It might be hard but I would add some leg movement, hands move so I don't see why he shouldn't use his legs. Also if he moves his feet, legs would move too ;) other than that my amateur eyes like it
