8 frames, original was 4, I wanted to make it smoother

4 frames, stabbing animation, no weapon drawn, imagine a SotN sort of thing where the weapon depends on whats equipped.


alot of frames, I messed up the animation abit, and UnFREEz can't control delay for each specific frame (can it?) but yeah.

really fucked up the hat, I don't like it much, will probably completely re-do later.

both in multicolor mode, just practice, those are probalby the most fun restrictions I've ever used. The second is abit unfinished with the goblin and background,

well, with the original image, it turns out I was using a faulty pallete


This is with a correct [or at least, more accurate] c64 pallete.


nothing really breathtaking, but it was my first time experimenting with c64 art. I probably would've made a few adjustments [or even a totally different image] if I was using the correct pallete to begin with. yes the lava sucks.

the biggest problem I'm having is what to add to it, and what not to add to it. I've never worked with this many colors before, either. It's much harder trying to find a use for so many colors than it is only using 16.

yeah. tear it apart. I know there's some major flaws in it. There has to be, I made it :P

8 colors. My favorite part is the broom. I always wanted to try one of those cool dither gradients. The arms didn't come out too well, they're supposed to be crossed. and you can't see the cigg too well on this light background. the back leg sucks. I dithered way too much etc. alot of people seemed to like it, but then again they don't really study or follow pixel art at all. I'll most likely not update it, but I would still love to hear what you all think is wrong with it.

Oh hell, have another this one more colorful yet equally full of flaws. ~1/2 hour to color, somewhere between nothing and a half hour for the lineart.;

Not much else to say. The main/art/info links are most likely temporary until I make something more fitting to the mood. For the most part it's finished, I don't think I'll do much more improvements on it. Not much content to it yet, but I'd like to see what people think of the layout. Any comments would be nice even if I don't use them in this piece, It'll still be nice to know what people think and how to improve my skills in general.
