i mean i want the feeling of the houses of jerusalem, but it will be used in a non desertic area.

if you notice the bulk of the building, the walls, you can see you've put a highlight on the left edge and on the front edge. but on the roof tiles you've put the highlight on the right. that might be a bit confusing

... *facepalm*

Ok, yesterday touched a bit the 1 and the 3 and i made a kind of good looking one:


So i started to make some windows, and since i was unable to decide between arched ones and squared ones... Welp, lets do all.


And yes, i know pretty much the 70% of them will fall down in reallity, but im not sure of how to make it better in a 16x16 tile XD

On a different note:
I'm officially a fulltime freelance pixel artist, as of today. Yesterday I moved in back at my parents, and I barely finished unloading the truck at 7pm that CATAM investor jumped on my back with special work to do. I feel like a real freelance already :'D

I don't see any problem really, in fact i think it looks better than the original XD All i see is improvement, not diferences.

Besides that i had nothing to say, besides "im a fan of that proyect :D"

I really find that both of this kind of tiles work pretty well combined depending in what are you trying to do.

I mean, if you are going to do a cliff you should use both of them, ¿Right? XD

bottom right colour is interesting.
but actually u might want to make 2 or 3 different colour sets for different buildings, this way things look less repetitive.
also consider adding some more interesting structurural shapes instead of all square boxes

yes bottom right is interesting, but it was not the kind of feeling i wanted on them. (Still im probably going to use it in a diferent way)

And yes i will make a diferent kind of color, but i will use one as the base.

And about structural interest, i will try but i want to get the square feeling to it, because i was searching a similar feeling Jerusalem had.

So yeah, thanks for all the advices.
