Pixel Art / Beat Em Up Mockup

I was asked to make a mockup for a Beat Em Up, but it seems it might not go anywhere for a while, probably partially because I don't know how to make backgrounds.  I'm not too worried about that because it's not my specialty and I don't really intend on it being, but I'd still like a little bit of critique on the other stuff. 

Blue is the main character and has a more or less final look, but Red is just an enemy concept swinging a weapon around and I'd like to work on it a bit more.

Felt like animating something a bit smaller than what I've been doing recently.
The sequence of events is as follows because I know I'd get questions otherwise: 1. Throw of jacket Yakuza style (Fades off because magic). 2 Burst off restrictive clothes (Because insanity, she goes from long khakis to now shorts, but she's wearing one stocking while her other leg is bare and the same color as the pants. ~Anime~).  3. Rush down to enemy and plant a tether spell.  4. Jump back, pull hard, and then 5. Gore punch to dragged enemy.  6. Flourish for style.  7. Summon her old clothes back with magic for the sake of loop.

Tried keyframing for this, which I don't usually do.  Worked out, but there are probably a few frames that could do with more exaggeration/impact.

Trying for that super hard shading style you see in games like Killer 7, where there's only the color and the shadow, with the light source radiating out from the muzzle flash.

This time it's another false god, the Golden Calf.  Based on a number of statues, plus some demonizing for the sake of making it more of a symbol of avarice and greed. 

Lot happier with the first draft this time around, but it could still go for some second opinions.

Pose is based on one.

Shading is pretty rudimentary.  Chest I'm okay with, but the rest I'm lost.

Pixel Art / Base for a Planned Animation [C+C]

Mainly concerned with proportions and shading, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.  The pants are what I'm least pleased with, though.

The animation planned is just a loop of the clothes/hair blowing, but I'd like to make sure it's in a good enough condition to work on.

Pixel Art / Silhouette Practice (With some Shading)

I've been trying to work more on posing, especially stuff more dynamic stuff than the casual slouch I usually do.  So, silhouette practice. 

Aside from just poses, I'm also trying for stuff like concept art or a splash screen, with the intention of kind of giving an impression of the character's personalities.
