I'm a 2D Artist, having worked on over 70 released titles : consoles and phones, including commercial releases on 8bits and 16bits devices, even boardgames. No C=64 though, but i'm familiar with the palette and the famous 2x1 pixels.

few things i've done : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/20hdr8imwlr5d09/AACX8OhFSKvRMKeG22dCMG0ca?dl=0
For more stuff, please ask via email or PM

EDIT: I forgot to talk about the actual game at all. Whoops. So the game is based on Medieval Ages with some Dark Fantasy elements in it, lot of gore and realistic visuals / characters.

Do you realise you wrote a full page + a TL;DR edit  about 3-4 guys doing better than paid teams of professionals, faithfully adapting a manga to videogame using aesthetics that have not much to do with Miura's, and - since it's an IP you don't own- lots of work for nothing but exposure... Without telling us a single word about what kind of game it is ?

I understand you'd rather deter non-hardcore fans, but something about the game concept would interest your audience

"alien invasion" is a theme, not a game type : it could be anything from Defender, XCom or Earth Defence Force, which are very different games.

So, what is it about ? :)

You'll get a hard time interesting (sincere) people in your project as long as you don't tell anything about it :)

Unpaid Work / Re: help with sprites <3
« on: November 22, 2016, 07:15:31 pm »
I would love to help you out, but are you going to pay me in any way?

If I may, "help", "age 15" and the absence of [paid] mention are possible answers your question ;)

A lot of you post their whole CV and stuff.
We're glad to see an active community, but... this makes the posts overbloated, and hard to search for meaningful information, answers or questions that interest both posters and candidates.
And impose on each to lose time checking lots of "new" posts, where nothing of interest is added

I'm no admin, I've no right to order anyone here, but as this trend is getting annoying and makes the forum look like Freelancer.com (and its hordes of icandoitveryyes-people), please :
- reply to offers in private,
- only answer to posts if you have something constructive to add or questions,
- post your art in the appropriate place,
- all in all, show some manners.

(posting here because I'm not sure where to put this for everyone to read, without breaking most rules myself)
