Hey so Reo said pretty much everything I can think of, but I took the liberty to edit the slime because I love them :P



Basically yours has almost no contrast whatsoever, I had to zoom to see the darker green you used, so i tweaked the colors a bit(top line).
Also In my edit I tried to shift the hues to blue when it gets darker and yellow when it gets warmer(bottom line).

It might not be the best edit but I think you can learn something from it  ;D

Where is your light coming from? because it seems like it is top right, but at the same time the right side of the right building isn't lit at all... Also the grass looks a bit noisy, it has a lot of stray dark pixels.

Other than that, it look really good, also the composition :)

Very good stuff! I like your progress. Personally, I don't like how your darkest gray takes up so much of your characters side. I like your shading but maybe that dark gray should be lighter. Just my opinion.
I agree with the above poster, it feels incongruent with his facial lighting. Would work well for moodwork, though, like how undertale did it in the undyne encounters.

Thanks for the feedback, I see what you mean, but look at the other sprites. It is a part of the style I am going with.
With that being said, I did try to make it less prominent:
