I kinda lost interest in Nintendo's consoles, they still make the best handhelds though.

Demon's Crest gets my vote. Dunno if much can be learned from Mario/Zelda because of their minimalistic styles [Minish Cap to a lesser degree than ML]. Minish Cap is a great looking game, but technique-wise I'm not sure.
