Pixel Art / The Compulsory Tree Tile/Sprite!

Hey Guys! first time posting something as far as art goes. I'm making a final fantasy-like game and made this tree in my spare time. C+C are helpful! 9 colors, palette at the top(black wasn't included in the final version)

I'm planning on putting this in a commercial game so all criticism helps :D

Looking good! Its quite dark and hard to see on my screen, despite full brightness. There should be enoughh contrast to tell what we are looking at. Also, how many colors did you use?

As far as I'm concerned, there isnt too much to change! Its a pretty solid base but make sure there is a female one :)

Hi! Glad to be able to start here!

His chest looks flabby, so try flattening those pixels. Also his arm appears a little deformed.

Hi hallowlore! First off, what type of project is it for? Im going to guess its a RPG game but let me know if I am wrong!

Second, i would start by taking the basic head and making a slim profile of the body as a beveled rectangle then work from that. Have it as wide as the feet currently are then make alterations for the form.

Hi guys! I've been browsing pixelation recently and decided to set up an account! Hopefully I will be able to improve my rather poor-to-average art. I am primarily interested in game development using standards of older equipment with some new twists, so i hope I will be able to learn and maybe one day teach!  :D
