I donno: I couldn't get to sleep, and I wanted to try something more restrictive than 16 colors, so the result is this 64x64, 8 color hourglass.

I donno, I just couldn't finish this guy.
Jack Thompson...the face is all skewed and I got sick of fixing it.
I really wanted to finish this one, but I lost the reference I was using and can't remember the guy's name

15 colors. It was based on a sketch I did during economy...and further inspired by a youtube video and some reading material I happen to come across.
I may animate the screen....we'll see.

Nice and simple: What's your favorite color? Explain, if you want.
Mine most favorite is brown/olive drab because of its naturalness/earthiness, and my second most favorite is grey, because it's insanely neutral and extremely versatile.

Pixel Art / Griddy Dithered Dragon (Diddy didn't do it)

I tried to kinda base this pic on an 8x8 grid...but eventually just went to dithering...I was sorta bored with normal shading, so I tried to investigate something different (each grid space either got 50-50 or 75-25 dithering)...and I sorta like the results, but it looks like shit anywhere colors are mixed diagonally (the tail and neck), so if anybody's got an idea to remedy this, that'd be great.
The lines are from something I had before, modified a bit.
I'm not taking the piece very seriously, but all comments and critiques are welcome, though I'm really trying to get some direction on the diagonal dithering.
Oh, and if anybody knows of other stuff like this, I'm extremely interested.

Um, I donno where I got the palette but it was titled "gameboyREAL",
I don't think it's the actual though....I also don't think gameboy could have 80x80 sprites either....C+C me to death.

Yeah, so I have this class in school where I basically sit around and do nothing for days on end....and sometimes I open up the schools trusty "Apple Works 6" and goto the painting thing and ffff around.
They're all extremely messy and each only have about 30 minutes or less put into them, but all the students who don't know what pixelling is seem to get a kick out of them.
Comments and critiques welcome, though I highly doubt I'll change anything.
EDIT:
Oh, by the way, all but the "Chris" one were based off of references from the internet....I may muster up some strength later and get links.

Started as a shotgunist, but I guess a guitar looked more brutal.
Thing's that bother me:
-the highlights on the forehead and shirt
-the aa on his back
-the legs (his right leg was going to be a stomach, but I scratched that idea early on)
Any and all help would be keen.

Still stuck in 100x100x5 mode
and abstractish again--sorry 'bout that...Anyways, I recently have been messing with something composition-wise that they only covered for like 15 minutes one day in art class, and I'm going all from memory; if you look hard enough you should be able to tell what it is... I'm pretty sure I'll need to work on it though.
I'm also kinda pissed at my circles... um... I messed around a lot with that purple skin color...tried it as peach, pink, green, but finally settled at purple.
Anything at all you can point out will be much appreciated.
