Well, i'm still not totally satisfied, but here's the color version. The skin is really pissing me off. I just cant get the tones for the skin right. Any help?

Yes, its another KoS topic. It's probably my 5th concept for a fighter but I like this one a lot, and think it can finnaly make it to the final product. Right now its a major WIP, but I just wanna take care of any anatomy issues before I go on any further. Gotta make sure I look right. 
I know there's no color, but can anyone help me make the dreads more distinguished?

I'm not too sure about re-coloring the wings. I tried to balance the green with the orange-brown. I think green wings would shift the balance over too much.

Many hours of pixel placement, sweat, tears, and reading St0ven's tutorial are just some of the few key ingredients used to create this piece. C & C are appreciated as this is my first piece of such a large stature.

OLD / NEW / EDIT ( 7/21/06 )
I'm really proud of myself for finishing this peice. The pose was very hard to set up and coloring the pants was such a pain in the ass, that I almost gave up on it. I'm really glad I didn't. I used these sprites as references and for help.
The sword is still WIP. I still need to finish it, but I'm not sure to approach it.

pretty nice. I'm thinkin' though, she doesn't look very dangerous. If she's supposed to be one of those mysterious, quiet fighters, add some sort of glowing effect, of something of that nature. Or mabye just try a more dynamic pose. Right now she seems just...blah. Other than that she loks pretty good. The leftmost leg looks a funky to me though...
