Hi, the only problem is that i know he is real.. he took $300 from me lol...  I do agree that what little art I saw (not completed) was good for the first day or so, but what good is art if it's half done and no where near what you paid for.  From the looks of it I counted 5 or 6 people, all recent, that he has taken money from, and not talked to again once the transaction was complete.  Does that sound like the work of an artist to you, maybe a scam artist...  From the totals here it's a rough $1000 that he has taken from people in the past few months, with nothing to show for it.  I for one would think that the moderators would want him off these forums since it appears that he is preying on programmers, and giving artists a bad name.  I don't think that you are condoning what he did at all, hopefully my post doesn't seem that way, it's just frusterating to see so many people hurt by this guy and everyone trying to get a hold of him with no luck.  The least Joshua could do is show his face and explain his actions.

Sent him a message, doubt I'll get a response though.  I do live in the same state as him though, maybe we could file a lawsuit against him as a group, anyone who has lost money and I could represent us in small claims court.  Does anyone know if there is protection in the law against something like this? Basically what he did was fraud, claiming to give a service, and one receiving payment not talking to his clients any more.

Thanks, interesting read.  I see I am not the only one who has been taken advantage of.  I wonder if any of those guys ever got their money back from him.  Even if I can't get any of my money back, I would at least like to make sure that he can't find another job to rip of another programmer.  I don't want to come across as mean, or insensitive about his story, but losing $300 was a huge setback for me in my game developement, and I wasn't able to hire another artist to finish my project and I lost my sponsorship, which upset me a great deal.  When I tried reversing the payment on paypal he pleaded with me to stop the inquiry and he would finish the artwork quickly, after I reversed it(stupid of me) he again started ignoring me. It has been going on like this for over 3 months. Every time I see him online on MSN I send a message but he never responds.

I have his MSN but no response ever comes of trying to chat with him.  He has stolen my $300 down payment for a project and refuses to either do any work for it, or refund my money.  I have tried numerous times to get ahold of him with no luck. Does anyone have any more contact information for him? I gave him over a month to complete even one sprite, and nothing was ever done.

Thanks for anyone who can help.

Hi, just thought I'd drop by and give a little feedback on the art for my recent flash game.  Miguel was very responsive, and helped me finalize a few ideas still lingering in my head, and then within a few days I had my finished product.  Very pleased, and I hope to work with him again soon.

Thanks again!

Bobby
