Thanks TakaM! Really cool piece, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished thing!

My apologies to Opacus for a late present, I sent it to Panda this afternoon so hopefully you will receive it soon.  I under-estimated my travel time across the Country and wanted to do a few more tweaks before submitting it, I should have sent a WIP before I left.

That's quite okay man. I'm an expert in missing deadlines myself :)
Looking forward to it!

Thanks a lot Opacus!
That's pretty epic! ;D

Glad you like it.

I had a lot more in mind for it at first, like the mec (it being an anti cephalopod mech) actually fighting a giant octopus.
But in the end I didn't think I could've pulled that off successfully without some crits.

Some very neat pieces of art here! I like yours as well Reo.

I am sad though, where is my present? :(

Oh and Panda: I know this is a nitpick, but you forgot the 'from' at the 3rd gift.

Working hard on it, got it all planned out. Will be finished in time.

The form looks pretty good, though I wouldn't have guessed it was an 'a'.

You might wanna provide some more info about the company. What does the company do? What's their mentality? What's the company all about?
The logo obviously needs to relate to the company a lot. It's one of the most important aspects of a logo. Yet right now, I don't know anything about the company, which makes it hard to say anything about this.
Does the logo have more to do with the company than just the first letter of its name?

Been a while since I posted any art at all here.

I'm in as usual. Been a while since I did any pixels. Might be nice to get the rust off.

My likes:
Guitars
Women (Long brown hair with a slanting fringe. Oh, and I'm a breast man)
Cephalopoda, Arthropoda and basically all strange creatures that live on and in this planet
Post apocalyptic themed stuff
Half-Life 2
Mythology
General fantasy and sci-fi
Mecha's (Both Western and Japanese style)
Vehicles with tracks or a lot of wheels
Nature; specifically jungles with small streams and waterfalls

You should be called Awesomeboy instead. This is just amazing. Every single one. Normally I'd try to say something productive but this is all I can come up with.

Class Stuff Ryu.

And Helm too.
And Helm, if you don't mind me saying; I love your robots etc, but for some reason I feel you're so overily focussing on technique and correct anatomy that your humans somewhere lose their sense of 'life'.
I don't know exactly how to explain it. I do think they're very impressive, but it just feels like there's something missing. I might be the only one who thinks that though, I don't know.

Haven't posted here in a while, cause I haven't been doing too many pixels lately.
But I'm still very much activily drawing. Here's a pencil drawing I recently did.

I didn't think that this would be worth making a topic about, so I'm just gonna ask this here.

How do you go about learning anatomy? What's the best way?

Do you start with learning the skeleton? The muscles?

And what is a good reference for this kinda thing? I've used Andrew Loomis a few times but I always hear mixed things about it.

I've heard it's the best and that it's not that good at all.

It's just that I'd love to start studying anatomy, but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions would be really helpful.
