Looks better...but Drew puts a shadow on the jester's body, and since there are two light sources, (the orange one being the other one) he should set one on her as well. Other than that, looks quite nice.

I don't know what you guys are talking about.... My elbows are in the middle or my torso. Anything else besides what it is now looks deformed, or too short and stubby like. If you're so concerned, maybe you could show me an edit.
Try making just the head a bit smaller.

Hey, whoa, ew, bacdafucup.
The new one is way way worse than the old one. Random dots all over, wtf? And what happened to the skull? The skull was cool, man...

I second that opinion. The head on the new one looks more like a human head (with flesh) than a skull. Also, the "hood" really doesn't read as one. Like Xion said, the highlights are too bright. And it reads as being much too thick to be cloth.

General Discussion / Re: Pixelling on your DS

100% Awesome
I had forgotten about this. Saw it a while back, but it kinda got lost due to there being no info on eventual availability. As far as I can see, the interface and toolset are fucking brilliant. You've got your standard soft brushes with variable size (optionally based on stroke velocity), opacity, for digital paints and quick sketches, and you've got your hard brushes (ie, photoshop's pencil tool) for pixelling work. Add in an easily-accessible palette, sensible use of both screens, and this thing looks like my dream portable art app.

You can download a manual for the as-yet-unavailable app to check out some of the functionality and interface features.

I've emailed the developer to enquire about the app as far as eventual availibility, etc.

Holy crap, that looks amazing! Please tell us what the developer said when he replies.

Much better.  :y: The only thing you should do now is remove a bit of the dithering; too much texture imo.

The black lines certainly don't look like ears...change the black to something lighter and move them down a bit. Or just remove them altogether.

As for the rest of it, it's looking better now, but the arms and legs are still too short
