Hi all! I thought I'd get myself in the holloween mood by making a pixel art of the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jack holding a pumkin,



For the most part I enjoy his pose. The pumkin needs work, I might make it a jack o' lantern. The shoulders need fine tuning and  his face could better resemble Jack.

I sugest removing the black in the brick wall.And have a grey color inbetween the bricks for the mortar.

I made this for my 1 button mock up.The background will be changed,but for now I need to work on the bear and if some of the HUD elements need edditing do so.My main focus is on the bear so please C&C before the mock up deadline.

You have to balance the bear on the unicycle If it goes into the red he falls off,the more time ticks by the harder to balance.More point are awarded for staying in the green.Pressing the button makes the bar go left and releasing it makes it go right.

For a novice (being myself the uberskilled master ::)), I always suggest trying to put the lightsource above the object they are shading, for it gives a better understanding on the shape of the object, and it is symetrical :P

A basic example that doesn't really resemble leather (and resembles more clay, perhaps a few sticthes and stuff like roughness and it'd look like leather...):





Thats money right there. :P

Head movement looks really choppy. when the sches goes down at the same rate the body does it looks bad also.

Yes I think that if the head moved it would seem more "real"
