Congratulations! I remember when a video leaked of the game and I posted it here, but I guess some of the guys here already knew about the game :P
This is probably the best time to ask, but is there any chance of it being ported as 3DSware? I ask because I no longer have a regular DS and DS games don't look too great on the 3DS, especially if you let it upscale, and it would look even better with the bigger resolution and 3D effects.

Finished this thing today, I might make some separate rubble sprites to fall down as individual and damage inducing objects.

The 3DS requires you to hold it quite closely to your face, close enough that your eyes are crossed a little, the further each layer is apart to each eye the more parallel your eyes receive the same image which makes it appear further away. You can reverse the process but it strains the eyes a lot.

Hey friends, I made a 3D screenshot of Fetch Quest, if you have a 3DS and wanna see it you can download and put it in your camera folder.
Click the swiveling gif to download the .mpo

Pixel art looks really neat in 3D. Wayforward have a game called Mighty Switch Force coming out soon, looks really cool and I'll be buying it just to see some quality pixel art in 3D.

What I think he was trying to get across is that it should not be a thread for you to dump a whole portfolio full of pixel art into one post.  Focus on just posting about one or two pieces so it doesn't become a "Dump every single sketch or piece you never posted on PixelJoint into one post" thread.
That was what I meant, it's fine if people want to post an image dump but if you want c+c on every image you should probably make your own thread. But it's not a serious rule either, if you want to just show off what you've been making it's all good, at the very least you'll help others with inspiration and motivation.

I'm glad to see this thread's already kicking, you guys are awesome. :)

In this age of care free one night stands and fast food, a place is needed where we can post some pixel art for a few quick crits without the hassle of managing a thread and providing all relevant information.

This is that thread, it's basically the same as the OT Art thread except it's for pixel art. Maybe you just want to share something you made, to make sure it looks alright to other people, it's not a huge piece you've been committed to for a while, or maybe it just doesn't quite deserve it's own thread.
A good general rule of thumb for this thread would be to not post more than one or two pictures per post

I'll kick off this thread by breaking that very rule with what I've been working on and also sorta took over the OT discussion thread:
(original version)
(ptoing's edit) //typofix! don't misspell my name!!!
(pistachio's edit)

So yeah, if anyone wants to offer some criticism go ahead, or if you'd like to post something of your own don't let me stop you.

Again, to summarize this threads purpose;
This is a low commitment megathread where you can just offer up work or advice and discussions will naturally take shape, don't worry about posting something different in the middle of another discussion.

I don't think I'll make a thread, not for this at least.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for the c+c but I don't think there's a whole threadsworth of content left in this piece. If you still want to offer an edit by all means go ahead, just keep in mind the flat style and basic character design are quite set in stone at this point, also this is only used in one shot of the opening cutscene.

edit-
Maybe we should have a casual pixel art megathread where people can just post whatever and discussions just naturally take place?

No need to apologize, I was hitting a wall when I tried different things with the eyes and basically gave up, it really helps to get some fresh perspective. How does this look:

Takam, that is quite nice looking, tho those eyes are totally rubbish if you ask me. They do not emote very well.
Thanks, the face is pretty much just a zoomed in copy of the in game sprite:

I tried putting white, and outlines around the eyes but I couldn't come up with anything I liked better, I guess his design is kinda like Bomberman or 1930's Mickey Mouse
