well for starters yes, add some more frames, look at how a human would walk as this character is humanoid, a human walks by lifting his knees and placing a foot forwards, bending his other foot and when the other one is one the ground lifting this one and preforming the same action so attempt to recreate this in your image by adding some transition frames between each leg being forward

hm, that is sort of true, I'll attempt to get rid, or change the shadow color, the game will play in at least 2x okay I did a slight edit, see how it looks

yeah, this is an attempt at doing a main character for a game, he was based off a sketch of a mail man. now he has an old pilot suit and a scarf. I believe the idea for the goggles came from an earlier post around here.


he still needs a lot of work, and I will change the background color in a few, please critique

the character is to be viewed mostly in 2x

I think it might actually be a good idea to make the slug actually swivel his whole body, so that his mustache doesn't interfere with the sprite, um hopefully that is legible haha
I would do an example but I'm terrible at animations.

hm, well the animation looks nice, maybe make the tail move a bit more drastically,
The real thing that is getting me about the animation is it looks like he's attempting to slit his wrists :-X maybe switch the knife to the other hand or extend his current arm

you should have said you lifted these colors in your original post.  and how can you be a fan of a game and not know its name.

well first off I know it's not an excuse but I did these quite a while ago, actually, back when I used game maker, and to your second question, I've seen the art around on multiple posts but never the name (that or I have read the name and didn't remember it)

-Terley- thanks:) this has been a long time WIP since, the game is finally coming along, um, the building itself I have I'm not sure about the perspective, I can't seem to draw 2d buildings without them seeming bland.

-Ryan Cordel- Never heard of it this game (I'm assuming it's a game ???) I should check it out.

-to everyone who comeneted about the "real life"- Yeah I had thought of that about an hour after posting this haha, I will be sure to do that, too bad real life isn't made with pixels :P

okay, so just attempt the roof again? I had trouble doing it the first time because I was trying for a look that made it look like cloth, but I couldn't find any refrences, do you think you could do a quick edit to help me on my way?
