Cleaner it is, but when doing as difficult a light source as this you've got to know anatomy pretty damn good. The line that shows his cheekbone for instance has to go the moment you set the lightsource below him, it isnt a part of his face its just a representation of a shadow that usually are ther when light comes from above. You've got to think about the face as volumes instead of lines, as i see you know and try to do, for instance with his chin. I've tried to do something similar myself and then ended up having rendered it all so nicely but being stuck with some terribly wrong lightning from the start which hurt the piece. Don't do that. :P
I suggest you get some reference on this lightning, here is something I found googling, though you can probably get better.

looks promising. I'm having a hard time figuting where is the light coming from though?

It's good that you are so enthusiastic about your art, but I don't think you need to bump this thread every time you update your portfolio. Editing your first post works just as well and is what everyone else does.

pretty good. I'm not a sucker for black outlines, but i guess its up to you. Give the poor animals some ears though, at least that cow(maybe some horns too?) right now it looks kinda like a white pig with no ears. I think that you would have to make it's body less round than it is right now, if you look up a picture of a cow I'm sure you'd see what i mean.

The feet makes me confused as to where I'm watching this from, giving me a feeling of seeing this slightly from above while everything else says straight in front.. Overall there is a lot of confusing things going on there. The stomach area by his right leg for instance, is cut of so that it gives the impression of the foot being in font obscuring part of it. but the foot is shaded and drawn like its behind it. the foot on the other side however, that should be obscuring part of the stomach, isn't. His hand is then hidden or broken behind that leg in an awkward fashion. it seems to me like you couldn't get it right and then decided to just hide it behind his leg instead halfway through. ;P I can't figure the mark on his stomach either, is it a mouth or? (newer known much about bowser though)

Shading is generally decent and the colors are nice. mostly just that confusing angles going on.

I'm not sure if this is much of an improvement but I've tried to follow the comments, legs stretched out more before he lands and changed to landing on heel(which makes his run seem a more cartoony one but it does seem less stiff than the previous one. unless someone has any additional suggestions I'll start detailing now.
Shrike, good point on the boots. will fix.
EDIT: robotacon, I dont know, you reduced the bobbing while some others have said to increase it. heelstrike added in as you posted, if its what i think it is. :)

12 frames.
Never really tried animating before but I want to build up a portofoilo, and hopefully some animationskills so I started one. It suffers a bit from not making keyframes and I just placed things around for each frame. Happy i ended up on an even framecount I guess. :P
heres a still image of the character I intend to use, skinnier legs for the ani will be made as i start detailing.

crits very welcome, mainly on the animation but also on the design.

Added more shading, made an edit on one of your balls that added shading and made it perfectly circular. also made the border around th door seem more like icing sugar so that it would look more like a gingerbread hosue.

like this. you need to make the center of the first ship appear less like it viewed from directly above though. reds are also really really close and the brown doesnt seem like its any darker than the reds. Can be my monitor though as it has some weird contrast.. the second one i really like the wings but it also looks kinda like you see it directly from the top instead of slightly-in-front-top.
