I took a little bit from both of your critiques :) Thanks so much! @ Bob... I know some of your stuff was stylistic preferences so I hope you don't mind I stuck more to my own. Seriously thank you for the help... she is so much improved I think... and I didnt use any extra colors for the update :O

I will edit the game portrait later... (p.s. what colors should I be getting rid of then? skin tones?) but right now I have an update for the squid... I changed him up a bit and used some more "contrasty" colors and decided to make the outline dark all the way around. I still like the soft colors of the first one but you are right, he didn't seem to have much shape with it... hopefully this coloration defines him more:

I will tack this on. I just finished it. Portrait/sprite set of a character I named Cassandra Lion.
Experimenting with black outlines and simpler shading.

Only the kleenex box is from cutemushroom and the last one is probably from a Korean pixel art site as far as I can tell. Mb Sayclub or Tokiya. And  the girl is on Angy Chan's Sugar Base

You need to credit the doll bases you used and the images you took from other sites... I think you might be better off trying a dolling forum.

Mudkips lulz.
The dithering looks very random and more like sand than shading. I would suggest trying a more patterned dithering approach or the solid shading suggestion (#3)

I felt the GameCube was mocked as a gaming system... it was underappreciated by all the gamers I know... so I suppose just recently. I am pleased the Wii is so fun.

I think Nintendo is terribly underrated. I am not a "fangirl/boy whatever" I have a PS2 and PS1 and Xbox... but I ENJOY playing the Wii. I think it's innovative, creative and fun! I have Enjoyed more Nintendo games than any other system! So that's a personal preference, it's not that I haven't branched out. Someone posted a link earlier comparing all three systems and the popular vote had the Wii winning at like 53%. That's over half for one system. It's just more fun imo!

Well like BOB said there are obvious lightsource issues with the egg and the body. My suggestion is using the flames on the tips of his wings as the lightsource(s). 
Since this appears to be a collaboration of 5 or so not so similar styles, and I am familiar with most of them, it's hard for me to give any kind of critique toward changing the style. I would suggest coloring the dragon with less texture, more like the egg perhaps?

I saw in game shots of the new Gran Turismo... and honestly... it looks pretty badass.
I never got a 360 bc the day it came out my ex got one and it almost immediately destroyed Halo 1 and Perfect Dark. Microsoft actually sent him a new one after we broke up AND Wal Mart exchanged it so he ended up with 2 360s and sold one. Bastard. But I just never bought one after all that... Go Wii!
