Pixel Art / Re: rpg sprites/tiles.

It seems like it's heading in the right direction but needs some tuning, especially on the palette.
The first problem is the grass tiles -they cover a very large area, and therefore can easily get repetitive, so you may want to create more versions of the grass tile ,  but also think about creating a variety of tiles that contain patches of differently colored grass, flower beds, dirt patches, rocks etc, just to break it up a bit.
As for the tile itself - it's extremely noisy, and feels uncomfortable to look at. I would follow Adam's advice and add another green - perhaps one between the two existing tones so you'd be able to smooth things out a bit.

The trees (especially their tops) have very high contrast and to me they feel metallic, like balls of tin foil.  Perhaps you should tone down those highlights, and limit them to a smaller region on the tree. Search these forums for a great selection of tree sprites for reference.

The sprites are cute and easily distinguishable, but I think that that black lines used for detailing inside the sprite area are a bit too harsh and make them hard to read.

I actually think a light gray would work better than this darker one you added, It's barely visible on my (fairly bright) monitor.
It's pretty cool otherwise.

This is too awesome to ignore.
I love everything about these.
Minor critique:
 - The floor tiles in the first image are a bit repetitive .
 - All the sprites are all lacking shadows.(but it's understandable since you said you just threw them in to spice things up)
 - The last image has rather high local contrast but low global contrast making it a little hard to read.

I think it's much better now, and I love the addition of secondary motion you to the hair and medallion, but I think you can push it even further. Try adding another frame of anticipation in which the entire body is more squished and the energy is being readied in the muscles, then make the release frame more powerful , legs and feet pushing the body forcefully off the ground. Same idea goes for the landing part- right now it feels like he lands too softly, let the body absorb the energy of the fall by getting more bent and squashed.
As for the motion of the hair and medal- try making them lag behind the body's motion so that they only come to a full rest a frame or two after the body does.

The black outline isn't a problem in my opinion, but perhaps you should let darker outline colors to penetrate the sprite whenever a limb crosses over the body itself (like the right arm and foot do in the peak of the new animation).

(Alex Hanson-White posted his reply while i was writing this one, sorry if I'm repeating his words)

What I personally miss is some shading - Pick a light source (say above and to the left of the castle) and stick to it throughout the evolution process. It will give it volume and will help define the 3d shapes better since right now it's looking a bit flat.
I have to say I'm really curious as to how this will turn out, the castle designs are good and I don't recall ever seeing a game with so many evolutionary steps for a single castle.

Cool stuff, i really like this character.
Regarding the animation- the motion itself seems right, but as a whole it feels a little too stiff , maybe you should try delaying the head a bit after the body , so that it reaches its extreme positions (top and bottom) a single frame after the body does.
