It's VERY boring. its just a box, make it different, add a garage, maybe a porch. why not a balcony and a addition on the side.

Currently only issue I see is that and choice of color. its a REALLY red roof.

Also.. with the roof.. you don't put shingles on the side of the roof too. So it shouldn't be red on the triangle spot.

As for the pieces, the guys pants look to ride up a little much..  (aka his nuts getting squished). Overall the character design is nice, outfit is pretty rad looking. As for being a younger character, it's still an uncomfortable stance. It looks to be putting all his weight on his knees.
As for the innocent look.. I don't know.. not so much... he does have his fist raised and a mechanical arm? or gauntlet?

As for the backgrounds.. I LOVE them as is, possibly a bit more definition or smoothing it out.

Thanks, sorry for the delay. Had personal things to take care of.
Anyway, I did touch of the feathers around the beak a little.. probably for the worst.. but as for the eye.. I'm HORRID at.. and this is the like the best I could do.

Next thing I should try to do is merge the colors of the beak into the features.. or at least cut it down a little.

Haha, that is pretty rad. Love the animations, and the interaction between the character and the other objects are priceless. (specially the squid)

Well.. Hello there, I haven't been around this neck of the woods in a hefty amount of time. I sadly faded from pixel art for a bit.. but yesterday, I opened up graphics gale. and began to pixel.. what started out as only an eye.. moved to become something that i think is well done for being out of the pixel scene for about a year.
Anyway.. without further adieu.. The piece that I did.



Critiques and such would be fantastic. I would really love to get back into pixeling, so motivate me please.  ;D

That doesn't seem like it would be the issue though since I'm using an unregistered free version. The only thing different from what I have and you have is.. the folder named pen
Yours is not capitalized and mine is, but I really doubt that could be the issue, though it is worth a try.
Also, Check if there is a scroll bar maybe you just haven't noticed it and it wont show your custom ones unless you scroll down on the pen section.

You have the folder correct. you sure you loaded as 1 bit

did you reload the pen?

THANK YOU! I didn't select 1 bit when making a new image. so I saved as a 24bit bmp which screwed me up. Works now, But screwed up the first time I got it to work. Black is the transparent color btw.
So Yes, Thank you SO much Turbo.
Edit: OOH yes, and for the free version users it does work with that version.

The newest update is way to saturated. lower the saturation and it will be more pleasing to the eyes. :blind:
