Thanks so much for your input! That's very useful. I'll work on animating him now.

I added a tree - in particular trying to develop a fast style that allows similar trees to be made very fast, e.g. trying to avoid having to paint features onto every single leaf.. this current style is quite fast as just needing to detail a few branches that break up the clusters.

I struggled with detailing the bark, so any suggestions here would be most appreciated, of if any suggestions/feedback about quick leaf patterns.

Also, I can't seem to remove the attachment in the main post even after unchecking it and modifying. Is that a bug with this forum?

Thanks so much Mathcong - that does look much cleaner. I'll try and practice this. Much appreciated!

optional suggestions for the shadows/highlights maybe:

- shadow dithering is love/hate, can be removed.. depends on the style
- also maybe a bit of anti-aliasing on the cables

- consider light direction (shadows and highlights)
- breakup the path especially with better transitions between the two structures
- add clutter, fill up that empty space in the middle with something likely to the story, e.g. a horse and cart, or have a different type of path there where animals often walk along.
- the current grass (yellow+green) growing there isn't believable, there's no natural transition or story to explain why they should grow there. Like if the mud were wet there, or if there were some nearby rocks to get some shade from
- if you like the dirty look, consider roughing it up even more - add little signs of wear, breaking some of the fence, tile missing from the house, more crooked/uneven bricks (especially on the silhouettes/edges).

Edited this to be a single-thread. Critique and feedback for any of the pieces would be most welcome.
