Job offers / [Paid] Beat'em Up sprites non-animated

I'm looking for a few base stance sprites which I can continue to tweak and animate, since I do spriting myself on this I figure I could use some help to speed things up a bit, for the record, there's no sprite done for now just character design, but I'll use the sprite commissioned here as base for myself to build further upon. I'd rather pay per frame, then per hour. We can negotiate about the price. But I would say $50 per frame/character.  PM me if interested, the title is under wraps. DIY game :)

Character have to be made in SOR1 dimensions, this because it would give us the options to put in arcade standards for enemy grunts on screen, and not wimpy SNES 3 players on screen style with HP sponges. So it's about 32x64 for the basic length but it can vary slightly if chosen so and a little bit more for larger characters.

It has to make use of the Pc-engine color palette :

Any ideas on how to make this guy less dorky?

Wasn't this from Skeletroids (other author then you?)

I'm not sure what a "dragon stance" is, but I am familiar with a variety of stances (cat stance, horse stance, female stance, etc.) and none of the traditional kung fu stances really match what Bruce uses.
[offtopic]Didn't Bruce make up his own style or something?[/offtopic]

This is nice.

JKD is an mixture off about everything that is effective. Bruce Lee himself always fought in Bi Jong Stance.

The gameover screen (the pale one with the smoke) is really boring. I'm sure you'll replace it and I was thinking it would be good to
have two different game over screens, one for each pilot with them climbing out of the wreckage all bloody and stuff like when you
lose at street fighter.

That's a great idea, I'll probably steal it.  ;D

And yes, the second level will be set in the wilderness. Forests, lakes, mountains. Pretty much a complete nature reserve tour, with the added enjoyment of blowing it all up.
Bloody and stuff should include shredded clothing :D

+1

Is there a slim possibility of an dreamcast port?

It looks good, but I'd suggest you move his right hand down a little. Right now I get the impression that he's scratching his chin.

He could be guarding his face more, it would make more sense if he was a street fighter to do that. But if that would be the case i would move it more towards the nose, and the fore arm more stretched (it looks a lot like a Bi Jong Stance)

Ok, I'll start over (and turn this sprite into a sillhouette, with some editing of course) using this tutorial.

BTW is there any Graphic Gale tutorial? I have no idea of the tools and stuff, can't even find a frickin pensil tool..

As far as the piece is concerned, I think the design of the character could use some work before you even begin spriting it.
Could you explain what you think needs work on the design?

I would possibly try researching Stoven's fighter tutorial, and you might be able to gain a better idea of pulling it off.
Link?
